Japan anti-nuclear groups hold protest

Thousands of anti-nuclear demonstrators have linked arms around the Japanese parliament complex in Tokyo in protest against the reopening of nuclear power plants following the disaster at Fukushima.

Some 10,000 protesters marched to the area from a nearby park in the latest in a series of mass protests against nuclear power.

They condemned the government's plans to reopen two nuclear power plants after all Japan's reactors were shut down following the earthquake and tsunami that wrecked the plant at Fukushima.
