Hans Andersen Club takes families as their servicing target. As a harmonious parent-child relationship can be established through storytelling and creative games, Hans Andersen Club provides readily accessible resources and training in storytelling and devising creative games, serving grass-root and under-privileged families and their children in Hong Kong. Their goal is to enable children to enjoy holistic development and adapt to the society. This project will support a storytelling programme to equip 160 retired "young-old" as storytellers and serve children and families in lower-income districts through innovative storytelling events including paired reading programme and story gala with nostalgic themes.

安徒生會以家庭為本位,透過提供講故事之培訓及相關資源之配套、創意親子遊戲活動等,為本港基層與弱勢家庭及兒童提供適切之服務,協助孩子與知識型社會接軌。是項計劃將支持160名退休長者成為故事大使,在本港一些低收入地區舉行說故事活動。
