As an active member of various English teams at my school, I have an immense passion towards the English language, whether it be in the form of reading, writing or speaking. In light of this affinity for the subject, I regularly participate in workshops and competitions pertaining to debate, public speaking and writing, all in the effort to immerse myself in the diversified use of the language. With only little more than a year left in my secondary school life, I will endeavor to make the most out of it by grasping opportunities when they come knocking at my door. |

I believe that through practising public speaking and joining competitions, both my confidence and speaking skills can be enhanced. I am used to being a shy girl in front of an audience. I hope I can conquer the fear by joining public speaking competitions and be fully confident to speak out my ideas that I would like to share with others.
I always enjoy brushing up my English language skills, especially those of speaking. I practise for clear pronunciation, a loud voice and talking in a lively manner. These are the skills that I think are important to a public speaker. I will try my best to achieve them.

I enjoy joining public speaking competitions as I can gain valuable opportunities practicing public speaking and enhancing my English speaking skills. Through constant practices, I can speak more fluent and natural English. My confidence can be boosted having chances speaking in front of a big audience. I would also like to show others that I am always striving to do my best and ready to walk the extra mile. |
