陳嘉穎 Chan Ka Wing (6B) 'Aim for the moon. If you miss, you may hit a star.' I have been striving for excellence in many different aspects. Though I might not be always successful, I surely know it is inextricable between diligence and success. And this is why I'd be craving on being the 'Speaker of the year' if I could get myself into the final round. Many endeavors should be seen but all I believe is 'No pain, no gain'.
陳朗善 Chan Long Sin (6B) I used to be a shy girl who refused to step out of my comfort zone. But ever since I took part in a public speaking competition, which is one of the scariest things to many of us, I've realized that the benefit it brought to me is much more than its scariness. I've become more daring and confident. And I've found that I'm capable of confronting the fear and obstacles of public speaking. Now I'm much more willing to take on a challenge and surpass myself.
楊鈞諾 Yeung Kwan Nok Justin (6B) My expectation in public speaking is expressing my ideas loud and clear with no restraints from rules or regulations. I think it is a great opportunity to share my thoughts and point of view on a particular issue, big or small, vital or casual. I think having a platform for me to speak my mind is a relief from all of the stress from school as our education system doesn't really care how a student interprets an issue. The public speaking contest is a way to express all my views and receive the applause of being a competent speaker.
