周樂妍 Chow Lok Yin Winnie (Form 2) Since I was small, I have been exposed to a rich English learning environment. I genuinely enjoy listening to stories in English, and I love chit-chatting with my friends in English.

But public speaking is very novel to me. It is a real challenge for me but I believe I can overcome it with the support from my family and teachers. I expect to be more able to speak fluently in English and to write and organize speeches better during my journey of joining 'The Speaker'. I hope I can achieve my ambitions in English learning and endeavor my best.
賴柏諺 Lai Pak Yin Kenny (2B) This is my very first time to participate in English public speaking. I hope I can take this opportunity to gain more experience in speaking English with poise and eloquently delivering my opinions about the environment.

Honestly, English is not my strength, let alone public speaking. But I believe my self-confidence will be boosted during my participation of this contest. This competition is surely a stepping stone for me to explore more about the beauty of English, and to handle other competitions ahead. At last, I want to thank RTHK and my teacher for giving me this precious learning opportunity.
賴雪瑤 Lai Suet Yiu Yoyo (4C) English is a special language for me. Although it is not my mother language, I feel more connected to English than my mother tongue. To me, the process of learning English is like getting to know a friend of mine. From learning the linguistic aspects of English to how to think using the language, I have gradually built my confidence and enhanced my English proficiency.

My dream is not unique but fairly simple – to immerse in the English language and use it to express myself confidently. This is also one of the reasons why I am interested in public speaking.
