彭浩棠 Pang Ho Tong (4E) This is the first time I participate in public speaking competition. I have been master of ceremonies for a few times at school but never speak publicly for a competition. I will be learning more about public speaking skills under rigorous training and apply them in the competition. Through this opportunity, I would be able to polish my presentation, oratorical and verbal communication skills. As the theme of this year's competition is environmental protection, I will also enrich related knowledge while am preparing the content of my speech. After all, I am confident that I will learn and be benefited a lot after the competition.
李晉傑 Li Chun Kit (4E) I am thrilled to enrol in the competition and it is a suitable chance for me to gain public speaking savvy. Delivering a speech in front of others has never been easy and I am devoid of related experience, but it is time for me to have my first foray. However, I believe that it would be an enjoyable attempt, and I can have the chance to polish my verbal communication skills, as well as improving my English from another prospect. I hope to learn more about public speaking because it is a very practical and vital ability.

游昊嵐 Yau Ho Lamm (4E) Behind those mouth-watering cuisine in this Food Paradise hides a shocking fact-Hong Kong's per capita pork consumption tops Asia and is almost double that of China in 2nd place (USDA 2011). This is just tip of the iceberg, tip of the threat imposed by climate change. This seems to be a massive challenge for a secondary school student; but as a global citizen, this is my responsibility to change for the better. 'Think globally, act locally' is the message I would like to convey in this competition, as my belief is clear-Speech is power.
