蔡梓康 Tsoi Tsz Hong Benson (Form 4)It is my honor to participate in this public speaking contest which provides participants a platform to share their point of view towards environmental protection. To be honest, I am not aiming at any prizes in this contest, but just a simple sharing about questions that perplex me for a long time, are plastic bags being overused? Are there any inadequate places in eco-bag? If not, then why people are more prefer to use a plastic bag instead of an eco-bag? I will try to solve all these problems in my sharing later.
梁曉霖 Leung Hiu Lam Queenie (Form 4) We all have encountered the time that we have to speak publicly. All we can reminisce is the nervousness when it comes to giving a speech in front of others. Don't always dream nervousness a Lucifer that we should never welcome. The fact is that being nervous is good. Nerves keep you 'double-A', which is alert and awake. With the nervousness, speakers can clearly, easily and alertly realize what they are doing exactly from time to time. Most importantly, nerves drive speakers' bodies stretched, making them concentrated on speaking. Why do we still have to fear nervousness?
陳蔚淘 Chan Wai To, Sonia (Form 4) This is my first time to have a chance to speak in front of the public. I hope I can give the speech confidently and fluently and impress the audience. Although I want to win this competition, I think the most important thing is to learn from this precious experience. I believe that I can enhance my presentation skills through this programme which can help my oral examinations. Moreover, I can improve my writing skills and learn some new vocabulary items while I am writing my speech. Therefore, this competition will definitely be a valuable experience for me.
